We oft en hear the world is shrinking due to technology, but how can
the internet aff ect illicit international trade in endangered species products?
Th ere are such small risks with being involved with illegal trade that something
needs to be done to deter people. The Convention on International Trade
in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (“CITES”) is inadequate
to deal with present problems. However, there are numerous solutions on the
dealing with international trade of endangered species products, each with
their own challenges.
